----Story----
Our story begins on a small island off the coast of the fatherland. It's a place where the sea meets the sky in a dance of never-ending waves, and where the mountains reach up to the heavens as if to touch the gods. The air is crisp and salty, and the wind carries the scent of adventure and danger. In the heart of this wild and rugged land, a lone village stands amongst the mountains. It's a place inhabited by Viking settlers who have tamed the land with their strength and determination. And at the heart of this village, there is a Chief - a fearsome warrior, who has seen many battles in his lifetime. But now, the Chief is old and too frail for battle. He has settled with his wife and child, watching as the years pass him by. The villagers look up to him as a wise and respected leader, but they also look to his offspring to continue his legacy. The Chief's son, Ivar, is not what the villagers expect. He is small and scrawny, and many of them think little of him. Even his father is disappointed in him and wishes for a stronger and more capable son to carry on his legacy. But Ivar is determined to prove himself. As he turns sixteen, he knows that he must take the trial to become a warrior like his father before him. It's a dangerous and challenging trial, one that will test his courage, strength, and survival skills. He will have to go into the wild and fend for himself for one month, facing all kinds of dangers and obstacles. But if he can complete the trial and return to the village, he will have proven his worth as a man and as a warrior. As Ivar prepares to embark on his perilous journey into the wild, he cannot help but feel the weight of his people's expectations. The term "Rettsaken" echoes in his mind, a reminder of the trial he must overcome to prove his worth as a warrior and to carry on his father's legacy.
